About Us
The Brampton Minor Basketball Association is a non-profit community-focused organization. We have proudly served the City of Brampton since 1979. As a member of the Ontario Basketball Association, and an accredited Canada Basketball Affiliate, the BMBA is committed to providing age-appropriate basketball programs for our members at all skill levels, in a safe and supportive environment.
For over 45 years, the BMBA has been dedicated to teaching basketball to youth from 5~18 years of age. From the fundamental basics to grass-roots development and to our elite competitive representative teams, our goal is to continually establish programs that will provide an atmosphere to challenge all members at each skill level, allowing them to develop at their own pace.
BMBA emphasizes fair play, respect and community service. Over the years we have seen the growth and enjoyment of this wonderful sport soar throughout our community.
With over 600 active members, our highly effective professional and volunteer coaches have played an important role in the development of countless alumni who have competed in the OCAA, OUA, NCAA, and the NBA.
